The petite Celeste Plate is from John Derian's Faience Collection. Faience is fine, glazed earthenware pottery. The decoupage from this group are reminiscent of Faience and leave us thinking of Northern Italy.

John gathers antique images that he and his staff of artists reprint, recreate and collage onto the reverse of glass accessories. All designs are lovingly handmade and signed at the John Derian Studio in NYC.
