Still family owned and managed, Matouk was founded in 1929 as a company whose mission was to give Americans ready access to the world's most luxurious linens. Located in Manhattan until 1985, the family relocated the factory to southern New England, finding a new home for its American Textile Production and more importantly, a community of skilled craftspeople. Matouk remains committed to its original values of design and manufacturing as well as its strong ethos of protection for environment and support of community.
